A View Hours In London

It's mid wedding season and this week I had the honor to capture an Indian - Irish wedding in the UK, Ashford. Hopefully I can share more about this wedding on my wedding portfolio soon. After the wedding we drove to London. And all I can tell is, it was the worst timing to go by car. There was lots and lots of traffic. Any how, after many hours we arrived in our hotel in Paddington. After a quick check in, I visited a couple for their wedding in The Netherlands this September. I always prefer to see the couple before, and funny enough they lived in London and I was in the UK so a meeting was a must.

We met at 16:00 and at 18:00 I took the tube to Zara home, my favorite store. Bought some goodies and went straight to the restaurant almost next to it. It happend to be the Ivy, a restaurant I had on my list for a long time.

The photos below are taken with my Iphone. We first started with a beer. I hardly drink beer, only one at the time for a refreshing feeling, and yes in the UK I feel like drinking a little beer. I ordered a linguine with lobster which tasted like heaven. Unfortunately I was not allowed to take pictures there so these photos below are taken with my Iphone.

The next morning we left the hotel very early to get the channel tunnel back home. I took some shots at the street of our hotel with the sunday morning sunlight.
